Not just an apartment, or condo, or a house-but a Community. More than just a place to live-a home with friends next door. Not doing less-but most often doing more, because on-premises staff will include a Lifestyle director.

No huge down payment, either. Just the convenience of a flat monthly charge for the full package of basic services-and that one charge includes most utility charges and fine dining, among other services. No long-term lease commitment required either--we aim to please our residents each and every month.

All our properties are primarily designed for the independent senior. (Certain properties do offer, at additional cost, assisted living services.) And what does that imply? First, it implies attention to physical design. Some differences from the usual condo or apartment will be obvious: the elevator, grab bars, walking paths, lowered cabinet heights, and so on. Others, such as the emergency response system, will be less noticeable. But our vision goes beyond physical design. For example, we can help schedule and provide transportation to medical appointments, and often arrange group outings to the theater or other special events.  Beyond physical design and services is the attitude we cultivate in staff.  In the belief that living in a supportive community encourages independence. Hooray for that!

Comfort, too, is an evocative word. Bringing a car? Fine. Bringing your own furniture, rich in memories? Great. Leaving for vacation or visits elsewhere? Wonderful. Having privacy? Absolutely, when you wish it, and the opportunity for a revived social life as well. Cooking for one? If you wish-though tray service is also available should you wish from our finely appointed dining rooms.

And speaking of food-how hard it is to cook for one! At least, with variety, with elegant presentation, without the work of cooking and cleaning. We offer three meals daily, and the best way to describe our fine dining is to invite you to join us. Just ask, and we'd love to have you as our guest for lunch or supper.

Still, if we must use only a single word, let that word be-celebration. Making new friends. Enjoying the luxury of good food, well prepared and served to order. The convenience of using our transportation. Movie nights and popcorn, holiday special events, outings for shopping and cultural events and other fun trips organized by our Lifestyle director. Interested in forming a poetry club, or a book club? Wonderful. Or painting or crafts or seated tai chi? Great. Bingo nights? Of course.
